霹靂系列乃因每齣劇名皆有「霹靂」二字得稱，以1984年「霹靂城」為最初創始，然現為大家所熟悉認知的霹靂布袋戲，係指1988年「霹靂金光」以降，以霹靂兩大主角素還真、一頁書作為主線而衍生發展的天下武林故事。霹靂系列由「十車書」黃強華職司編劇、由「八音才子」黃文擇統籌口白，從「霹靂金光」、「霹靂眼」、「霹靂至尊」一路鋪陳而下，至2011年「霹靂兵燹之問鼎天下」計已播出超過 一千餘集，為霹靂國際多媒體的主幹布袋戲。
